Xiaomi phones getting the HyperOS update
- Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE are among the latest devices to receive the stable HyperOS update.
- The Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro are exclusive to the Chinese market, meaning there are no regional firmware builds available for these models.
- However, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro were released in multiple international markets, resulting in several regional software builds.
- The update in China can be distinguished by the following build numbers: Xiaomi 12S Pro – 1.0.3.0.ULECNXM (5.5GB), Xiaomi 12S – 1.0.3.0.ULTCNXM (5.4GB), and Xiaomi 12 – 1.0.2.0.ULCCNXM (5.3GB).
- It’s important to highlight that the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE received its final major update with this latest update.
- However, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is still eligible for one more major update in the future.
- Additionally, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is receiving this update in the global market, while the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is receiving it in the Chinese market.
- The HyperOS updates are identified by the build numbers OS1.0.1.0.ULBMIXM and OS1.0.1.0.UKOCNXM.
- It’s anticipated that the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE will also receive the HyperOS update in all other markets soon.
- In addition to introducing HyperOS features, the system update also upgrades the Android version to 14.
