Vivo X100, iQOO 12 launch details

  • According to tipster DigitalChatStation, the iQOO 12 series will launch in early November in China, probably in time for the Double Eleven (November 11th) sales event.
  • The Vivo X100 series is expected to debut shortly after the Double Eleven event.
  • In line with this, another tipster suggests the iQOO 12 series will be an online release and is expected to be on sale for Double Eleven. While the Vivo X100 series will come after the event, not directly clashing with the iQOO release.
  • The vanilla iQOO 12 is rumoured to debut in the same month in India.

iQOO 12 specifications (expected)

  • The iQOO 12 is expected to come with a 2K display, 144Hz refresh rate, and flat edges. At the same time, the iQOO 12 Pro variant could come with a Samsung E7 AMOLED display and a 144Hz refresh rate.
  • The iQOO 12 series is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The chipset is expected to debut later this month.
  • There could be up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage.
  • The iQOO 12 series is likely to run on Android 14 OS with Origin OS 4.0 custom skin. 
  • The iQOO 12 series could come with a 64MP OmniVision 64B telephoto sensor with 3x zoom and OIS, a 50MP OmniVision OV50H sensor with OIS and a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide-angle sensor.
