The rapid network services, which Jio has dubbed Jio True 5G, would also assist Reliance Jio in launching Jio 5G-powered projects across several industries in Gujarat and other states, which include education, healthcare, agriculture, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

“Starting 25th November, Jio users in Gujarat will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, to experience unlimited data at up to 1Gbps speeds, at no additional cost,” according to an official statement by Jio.

How to get Jio True 5G service?

On November 25th, Jio True 5G Welcome Offer invitations were sent to users in the state of Gujarat. They can now join the network and get 5G services without paying anything. The Jio True 5G Welcome Offer provides unlimited 5G Internet speeds up to 1Gbps. Users who own a 5G-capable smartphone and have an active base plan of Rs 239 or more on their number are eligible to get the Jio 5G Welcome Offer invitation. If users satisfy these requirements, Jio invites them to utilise its Jio True 5G services as part of the Welcome Offer.

During the introduction of 5G, Reliance Jio assured its customers that the new 5G services would work on their existing 4G SIM. Reliance Jio provides the most varied selection of 5G spanning the 700MHz, 3500MHz, and 26GHz bands since it acquired the most spectrums at the 5G auction earlier this year.

5G service providers in India: Reliance Jio and Airtel

Only two of the three main telecom providers in India at the moment – Airtel and Jio – are offering 5G services. Regarding 5G services in the country, Vodafone Idea has not yet offered an update. Reliance Jio’s True 5G network is a standalone (SA) network, as opposed to Airtel’s 5G Plus service, which is a non-standalone service (NSA) that uses the current 4G infrastructure.
