Google is rumoured to launch its mid-range Google Pixel 7a smartphone during the upcoming Google I/O 2023 event. The event will be held on May 10th, 2023, in the US, and the brand will reportedly take the wraps off its Google Pixel 7a and various other products and services during the same. Ahead of launch, however, the design and colour options of the Google Pixel 7a have surfaced, as the official-looking renders of the device have been leaked. The leaked renders give us a working clue as to what the device will look like from the front and the back. Let’s take a look.

As seen in the leaked render images above, this is what the Google Pixel 7a will look like. The device will reportedly be available in White, Grey, and Blue colour options. The leaked renders (posted by MySmartPrice) suggest that the Google Pixel 7a will feature a dual rear camera setup and a centrally-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. In terms of design, the Google Pixel 7a will look more or less the same as the Google Pixel 6a. The front of the device will make room for pretty sizeable bezels all around, at least if the renders are depicting the correct dimensions. Speaking of the similarities between the Google Pixel 7a and the Google Pixel 6a, one thing that’s new when it comes to the Google Pixel 7a appears to be the fact that the device will likely feature a metal frame, as evident by the antenna linings.

The Google Pixel 7a is expected to feature a 6.1-inch OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will likely be powered by the new Tensor G2 chip, which could be paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. In terms of cameras, the Google Pixel 7a is tipped to offer a 64MP Sony IMX787 primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide angle camera. At the front, the device is expected to feature a 10.8MP selfie snapper. Lastly, the Google Pixel 7a will run the latest Android 13 OS.
