Motorola Edge 50 Pro India launch seems to be very close now. The company has announced a new smartphone launch in India in early April. The save-the-date invite doesn’t reveal anything about the phone except for a very cryptic teaser that says, “Witness the fusion of art and intelligence.” There have been leaks though on the Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone, so it’s most likely this phone that’s set to debut in India.

Motorola smartphone launch event in India on April 3rd

  • Motorola has scheduled an event for April 3rd in India. It’s expected to launch a new smartphone on this day, and it could most likely be the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.
  • The brand hasn’t dropped any hints on the upcoming device but we’re speculating based on the current set of leaks that have been going around.
  • Motorola Edge 50 Pro has been showing up on leaks lately so we’ll most likely see this phone launch at the event. We’re also expecting more details to come up as the launch date gets closer. 
Motorola had also teased a new phone in China, the Moto X50 Ultra in partnership with F1. It’s speculated that this is the Motorola Edge 50 Pro but with a different moniker. In the US, it’s expected to launch as Motorola Edge+ (2024). The Moto X50 Ultra is also teased to launch as an AI smartphone. The teaser showed a leather-like finish, possibly vegan leather, and the cameras placed on the top left corner with the power key or volume buttons on the side.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro leaked extensively recently revealing key specs about the phone along with its design. It comes in three colour options: purple, black, and a silver/white/stone colour. In terms of specs, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with 12GB of RAM.

The smartphone could also pack a 4500mAh battery with 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. It will house a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.4 aperture, a wide-angle camera and a telephoto camera with 6x zoom.
