Moto X50 Ultra teaser video

  • The teaser video shared by Motorola shows an F1 car with the Lenovo branding (official F1 sponsor), and few glimpses of the Moto X50 Ultra.
  • The smartphone looks like it will come with a leather finish, possibly vegan leather. The cameras are placed on the top left corner, and power key or volume buttons on the side.

  • It looks like the Moto X50 Ultra will come in a black/dark gray colour. Since the teaser doesn’t give out much on the Moto X50 Ultra, we can’t figure out the design elements properly.
  • The Weibo post with the teaser mentions the F1 China GP, which is scheduled for April 21st, so we might see the Moto X50 Ultra debut on this day. More teasers on the new Moto phone are expected to be revealed in the coming days.

Moto X50 Ultra could launch as successor to the Moto X40 that arrived in China last December. But the nomenclature is confusing since there’s no Moto X40 Ultra. It’s also not clear if the Moto X50 Ultra is going to be exclusive to China, and launch under a different moniker in other markets. Normally, the Moto X series debuts under the Edge moniker in global markets, including India. We should get clarity soon with more official announcements from the brand.

There isn’t much we know about the Moto X50 Ultra. But based on the teaser, we can expect a big focus on generative AI. Brands like Samsung, OPPO and OnePlus are also leveraging on smartphone AI making it easier for users to perform complex tasks easily on their devices.
