Motorola Edge 50 Pro’s first sale in India starts today. The new Motorola phone was launched in the country last week as the latest entrant in the ‘affordable flagship’ segment. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro comes with up to 12GB of RAM and is available in three colour options with a leather finish. The smartphone also boasts a curved display, a punch-hole camera, and flagship-grade features such as wireless charging support.

- The handset has a starting price of Rs 31,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. With this variant, you get a 68W charger in the box.
- Motorola Edge 50 Pro with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 35,999. This one comes with a 125W charger, which is the maximum charging speed for the phone.
- There’s an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on HDFC Bank credit card transactions.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro specifications
Motorola Edge 50 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED 144Hz curved display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, and up to 12GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 50MP OIS primary camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto camera, and a 13MP ultra-wide camera at the back. For selfies, there’s a 50MP front camera.
The smartphone is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 125W TurboPower charging technology, and 50W wireless charging. You also get Android 14 out-of-the-box with Hello UI layered on top. The smartphone is also assured to get three OS upgrades till Android 17, and four years of security updates.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro scored 8.5 in our detailed review, and for good reason. The smartphone has a lot to offer for its asking price. You get a slim design with a leather finish, a curved display, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. There’s a 144Hz display, 50MP triple camera which turned out to be impressive, and super-fast charging speeds. It is worth noting the handset’s performance might not appeal to users who demand heavy performance.
However, if you are a regular user, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro serves as one of the best alternatives to a flagship smartphone right now.
