Though the POCO F1 successor is confirmed to be in the works, Anuj had clarified that it may be a while before it launches in India as the company still needs time to develop it. It was initially thought that the POCO F2 Pro was the POCO F1 successor, but the brand believes it isn’t a perfect sequel to the phone that put POCO in the limelight. Considering POCO F1 is a flagship offering, the POCO F2 should arrive with Snapdragon 8xx series chipset with an aggressive price in India.

Separately, POCO recently launched the POCO C3 in India. The phone sports a 6.53-inch HD+ LCD screen with 720 x 1,600p resolution and a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. It runs on Android 10-based MIUI 12 skin on top. The POCO C3 rocks a triple camera setup consisting of a 13MP main camera, a 2MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery.
