Nokia laptops might soon launch in India as portables show up on BIS website

• Nokia-branded laptops have shown up on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website
• There appear to be a total of nine SKUs in all, four with Intel Core i3 processors and five with Core i5 processors. 
• Nokia's upcoming laptops will likely compete against similarly-specced offerings from the likes of Xiaomi. 

Nokia laptops might be launching in India really soon as after establishing its presence in the smart TV market, the brand appears to be eying the highly-lucrative laptop market. Some Nokia-branded laptops have shown up on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website. There appear to be a total of 9 SKUs in total, indicating that it is not going to be a one-off release. However, there is no indication about when the Nokia laptops will be released in India. Considering that they've only arrived on the BIS website a few days ago, it could take a while before they get the green light, especially when the BIS has been taking longer than usual to process applications.
