OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones are now getting OxygenOS 10.0.2 update that brings the October Android 2019 security patch and other bug fixes. The official changelog mentions the OTA update optimises the standby power consumption, expanded screenshot feature and Bluetooth connectivity in automobiles. The OxygenOS 10.0.2 update to OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro improves the translation accuracy, optimises the overall communication performance and charging performance with third-party chargers. The OTA update also fixes the blank screen issue as well.
Furthermore, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro update fixes the fingerprint icon animation issue and volume issue with Apple AirPods. This also fixed the black bar issue while charging or playing a video and improved the system stability. Lastly, the OxygenOS 10.0.2 update for OnePlus 7 Pro optimises the performance of ‘Super Stable’ video recording feature. OnePlus says the OTA is a staged rollout; this means it will be made available to limited users for now and a broader rollout will begin once the OTA is certified as bug-free by the company. OnePlus mentioned that using a VPN to download the build won’t work as the rollout is not based on regions and is randomly pushed out to a limited number of devices.

To recall, the OnePlus 7 Pro sports a 6.67-inch fluid AMOLED Quad HD+ display with 3,120 x 1,440 pixels resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. While the standard OnePlus 7 has a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED full-HD+ display. Both the phones ship with the Snapdragon 855 SoC with Adreno 640 GPU taking care of the graphics and run Android 10 with OxygenOS custom skin on top. In terms of optics, the OnePlus 7 Pro feature triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto secondary lens, and a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens with dual LED Flash.
While the standard OnePlus 7 gets dual camera setup with a 48MP primary shooter and a 5MP secondary depth sensor. For selfies, both the phones feature a 16MP snapper. Connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS, and USB Type-C. While the OnePlus 7 Pro has a 4000mAh battery, the OnePlus is fueled by a 3,700mAh unit.
