- OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition spotted on 3C with 80W charger.
- The upcoming phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset.
- OnPlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition is expected to launch globally as OnePlus Nord 3.
OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition’s launch is getting closer. To recall, the Ace 2 was launched in China earlier this month with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and 100W charging support. The same device made its way to India as the OnePlus 11R 5G. Earlier this week, OnePlus China’s president Li Jie teased that a Dimensity version of the phone will be launching soon. This device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. Now, we have spotted the same device with model number PHP110 on China’s 3C certification website, suggesting its imminent launch.
OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition to come with 80W charger
According to the 3C listing, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity variant smartphone will come with an 80W fast charger in the box. This suggests the phone will support 80W charging, a downgrade from the Snapdragon version that supports 100W charging. It’s unclear why the company is downgrading the fast charging support on the Dimensity version. One reason could be to launch the device at a lower price point. Unfortunately, this is all we know from the 3C certification.
OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition could launch globally as OnePlus Nord 3
The OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition’s inclusion of the Dimensity 9000 chipset and 80W charging strongly suggests that the phone will be launched globally as the OnePlus Nord 3.
Just yesterday, tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer and MySmartPrice leaked the complete specifications of the OnePlus Nord 3. The device is tipped to feature a 6.72-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will come in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants with up to 256GB internal storage.
The triple rear camera system on the OnePlus Nord 3 will include a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There will be a 16MP sensor at the front for selfies. The device will house a 5,000mAh battery.
