OnePlus Ace 3 Pro specifications (rumoured)

Charging: Tipster DigitalChatStation (via Weibo) claims the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will sport 100W fast charging speed. On paper, that looks slower than the 120W charging speed of the Ace 2 Pro.

OnePlus’s SUPERVOOC 100W adapter is rated to fill a 5,000mAh cell in about 27 minutes. The Ace 2 Pro’s 150W charger could top up its 5,000mAh tank in 17 minutes. We’ll have to see if OnePlus has any charging enhancements to fill the rumoured big battery inside Ace 3 Pro.

Battery: Not just big. The Ace 3 Pro is expected to feature a bigger 6,100mAh juice bank! It could deliver a 2-day battery life.
Display: DCS gives more details about the display like it’ll be a 6.78-inch BOE 8T LTPO AMOLED with 1.6K resolution (2,780 x 1,264). It could refresh at up to 120Hz. The new device seems to have more pixels and slightly more real estate. No details about the brightness yet.
Processor: The tipster reiterates Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip as the underlying processor. That’s said to be 20 percent more efficient than its predecessor and its Adreno GPU is also supposedly 25 percent more powerful.
Memory: The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro could ship with up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB storage. Not much change here.
Cameras: OnePlus could stick to the same 50MP+8MP+2MP troika on the back and 16MP front camera. Again, not much different.

Another tipster named Smart Pikachu (via Weibo) corroborated the battery, charging, and camera specs. He also adds the device could benefit from a bigger heat dissipation area.

It is also being said that the Ace 3 Pro could have a textured body and the rear camera module may be seamlessly fused with the side frame, unlike the double-layer splicing on the Ace 2 Pro.

OnePlus Ace 3 Pro launch timeline (expected)

DCS claims the Ace 3 Pro could launch in China in Q3, 2024. This is different from a previous rumour. The Ace 2 Pro was launched in August 2023. Let’s see if it launches globally as the OnePlus 12T. Last year, OnePlus broke its tradition of rebranding Ace series phones as T-series phones globally, and the last T phone we saw was the OnePlus 10T in 2022. So, we can’t be sure.
