According to tipster Digital Chat Station (via Mukul Sharma), the OnePlus phone with the Dimensity 1200 chipset is expected to release soon. This is most likely the OnePlus Nord successor, called the Nord 2. However, the phone could also be called the OnePlus Nord CE 5G as it has been in the news off late. The phone is expected to launch in mid-June, according to tipster Mukul Sharma. Moreover, the OnePlus Nord 2 can also be expected to launch in India.

To recall, the company launched the OnePlus Nord in India as a sub-Rs 25,000 smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. The potential successor carrying the Dimensity 1200 sounds like a good upgrade. The original Nord also features a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 48MP quad cameras, and a 4,115mAh battery with Warp Charge 30W fast charging, among other things.
