Back in February, we exclusively leaked the renders of the upcoming OnePlus Nord Buds. Back then, the moniker of the brand’s first-ever Nord-series TWS was unknown, but thanks to a fresh FCC listing, we now know for sure that OnePlus will soon be launching the OnePlus Nord Buds in the market. The OnePlus Nord Buds have today been spotted on the FCC certification and the Indian BIS certification websites, which not only reveal key specifications and the design but also hint that the Indian launch of the TWS is not too far away.
OnePlus Nord Buds design, battery specifications revealed
As seen in the FCC certification database images above, the OnePlus Nord Buds (with the model number OnePlus E505A) have recently been certified. The FCC certification confirms the OnePlus Nord Buds moniker and reveals the battery capacity of the individual buds (41mAh) and the charging case (480mAh). Furthermore, we can see a red USB Type-C cable in the images.
Additionally, the same model number has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification website, which does not explicitly reveal any specification of the device, but does imply that the Indian launch of the OnePlus Nord Buds is close.
OnePlus Nord Buds price in India (expected)
OnePlus has usually been pricing its Nord products relatively lower than its flagship lineup. Hence we can expect the OnePlus Nord Buds to cost lesser than the OnePlus Buds Z2, which is so far the cheapest offering from the brand in the TWS segment, priced at Rs 4,999. OnePlus Buds Pro, the company’s premium offering in the TWS segment, was launched at Rs 11,990 in August last year.
