While we know the box price of the OPPO A78 5G, the actual cost might be slightly less but can't be said for certain. The handset is expected to come with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 50MP primary camera and a 5000mAh battery.
OPPO A78 price in India will be Rs 18,999 for the sole 8GB + 128GB version. The phone is currently up for pre-booking and will be on sale starting from January 18th. However, the company is yet to officially confirm the price details.

The OPPO A78 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 13-based ColorOS custom skin out of the box.
The OPPO A78 has a large 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.
Moving to optics, the OPPO A78 5G features dual camera sensors on the back, with a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP wide-angle lens. There is an 8MP sensor on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone measures 7.9mm in thickness and weighs 188 grams.
