OPPO F11 Pro India launch confirmed for March 5th

Earlier this month, 91mobiles exclusively reported that OPPO will be releasing its next-generation F series smartphone, the OPPO F11 Pro, in India in the first week of March. Now, in line with our report, OPPO has announced that it will be launching the F11 Pro in the country at an event on March 5th in Mumbai. In addition, the Chinese tech giant has also confirmed a couple of key features of the upcoming F series offering.

In a teaser page on its website, OPPO has revealed that the F11 Pro will flaunt a 48-megapixel primary camera at the rear, aided by a 5-megapixel secondary shooter. The AI-driven 48-megapixel main sensor is touted to deliver enhanced portraits under lowlight conditions. For selfies, the smartphone will boast a pop-out camera on top, but there’s no word regarding its sensor at the moment. However, our sources suggested that the phone will sport a 32-megapixel selfie camera, just like the recently launched Vivo V15 Pro.

Furthermore, OPPO has announced that the F11 Pro will come with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology. The phone will sport a nearly bezel-less design with what OPPO calls a “Panoramic Screen”. Lastly, the images shared by the brand have revealed that the smartphone will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and come in a 3D gradient glass finish.

In an earlier press release, OPPO revealed that the F11 Pro will have a Super Night Mode. This mode functions with the brand’s AI Ultra-Clear Engine, which includes the AI Engine, Ultra-Clear Engine, and Color Engine. “The AI Engine and Ultra-clear Engine delivers the perfect Super Night Mode which intelligently recognises scenes and optimises the settings. It also helps in optimisation for image-stabilisation during long exposure, low-light performance, and skin brightening,” explained the brand.

While OPPO hasn’t yet revealed any other specs of the F11 Pro, our sources suggest that the phone will be packed with a high-end MediaTek processor. Furthermore, we can confirm that the phone will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. While the exact OPPO F11 Pro price in India will be announced at the launch event in Mumbai, we can expect it to be a sub-Rs 25,000 offering.
