Key takeaways

We have reviewed the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and found it pretty impressive. Although slightly priced on the higher side for a Redmi series, the phone has a lot going for it. The nifty features like an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, a premium curved AMOLED display, a vegan leather back panel, a large 200MP primary camera and 120W fast charging support are positives.

On the other hand, although we have yet to review the vanilla Reno 11 5G, it will be a tough nut to crack in the camera department.

Both phones have a curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate but it is the Redmi phone that has a better panel thanks to Dolby Vision, PWM dimming, 1800 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus support.

The Redmi and Reno phones get the same 5000mAh battery units but the former has a larger 120W fast charging support compared to 67W on the Reno 11 5G. The OPPO phone also runs on the latest Android 14 OS out of the box compared to the Android 13 skin on the Redmi phone.

There is a 32MP front camera on the Reno 11 5G compared to a 16MP snapper on the Redmi phone. This should usually result in sharper images with better details. There is also a 4K front video recording on the Reno model.
