The month of June is here and PlayStation Plus users know what that means. A whole host of new games that they can download. This month’s collection has something for sports fans and dinosaur aficionados and even retro-geeks who love side-scrollers. The games included in the PlayStation Plus monthly games for June 2023 includes NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi. These games are available to PS4 and PS5 users.
It should be noted that these games will be available from June 6th onwards, and will be available till July 3rd.
Here’s a closer look at what is on offer.
NBA 2K23
NBA 2K23 is the latest title in the long-running list of basketball games based on the NBA. It features up-to-date rosters as well as a few historic teams to choose from. It also includes teams from the WNBA. Of course, it also comes with beautiful graphics and extremely life-like virtual representations of your favourite players. Gameplay modes include MyCAREER, MyTeam, and MyNBA. As an added bonus, PlayStation Plus members also get exclusive monthly MyTEAM packs in-game.
Jurassic World Evolution 2
This game lets you build your own Jurassic World and do something that the cinematic version couldn’t do – Be successful. Gamers are tasked with breeding new dinosaurs, creating amenities for visitors, and of course, ensuring their safety. As an added bonus, players will work alongside iconic characters such as Dr. Ian Malcolm and Claire Dearing, both of whom are voiced by Jeff Goldblum and Bryce Dallas Howard respectively. The game features four game modes as well as a huge roster of dinosaurs.
Trek to Yomi
Trek to Yomi is a side-scrolling action game set in feudal Japan and features a lone samurai protecting his people against the forces of evil. Aside from the crisp gameplay, the graphics and art style is what really set it up. It has the look and feel of a classic Akira Kurosawa movie complete with filters that make it look like it was shot on film.
