POCO M4 Pro is set to debut in global markets on November 9th. There are speculations it could be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11 5G that launched in China recently. Now, while we wait for the announcement, POCO Global has come up with a surprising announcement. The company will be unveiling the POCO F3 refresh on the same stage. POCO F3 was announced earlier this year and came with Snapdragon 870, 120Hz E4 AMOLED screen with MEMC, 33W wired fast charging, Dolby Atmos, and a 48MP primary camera. The new POCO F3 is expected to get a better chipset — probably the Snapdragon 888, improved optics, and bigger battery life or faster-charging support. Unfortunately, the teaser image doesn’t reveal much else about the phone just yet.

POCO F3 specifications

To recall the POCO F3 specifications, it sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch response, a tiny 2.76mm punch-hole cutout, and a 3.5mm slim bottom bezel. The phone has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 48MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture and LED flash, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FoV, and a 5MP tele-macro camera. There is a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C for charging and data transfer. It measures 163.7 x 76.4 x 7.8mm and weighs 196 grams.

The POCO F3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage that will be further expandable via a microSD card. It runs Android 11-based MIUI 12 custom skin out of the box and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. A 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging support fuels the phone.
