POCO X3 has been launched in India as a successor to POCO X2 (review) from earlier this year. The new POCO X-series smartphone debuts in India with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset under the hood. POCO X3 specifications also include a 120Hz FHD+ display, a 64MP quad-camera setup arranged in a new layout at the back, and a 20MP front-facing camera. Unlike its global variant, which was launched earlier this month with a 5,160mAh battery, the POCO X3 India variant battery is a 6,000mAh capacity.

POCO X3 price in India, sale date
POCO X3 price in India starts at Rs 16,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone will also be available in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants, priced at Rs 18,499 and Rs 19,999, respectively. The handset comes in Shadow Gray and Cobalt Blue colour options and the first sale of the POCO X3 is on September 29th at 12 PM IST on Flipkart.
POCO X3 specifications
The POCO X3 supports dual SIMs and runs Android 10-based MIUI 12 with POCO Launcher 2.0 on top out of the box. The handset sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display that bears a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, a centered punch-hole cutout, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone supports HDR10 and Widevine L1 certification. Under the hood, the phone rocks the new octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC coupled with Adreno 618 GPU, up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via a microSD card.
The POCO X3 packs a quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a couple of 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. The cameras are backed by features like AI Skyscaping, Pro mode, Gold Vibes mode, Cyberpunk mode, and so on. At the front, the handset features a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security and the phone is equipped with dual stereo speakers.
The POCO X3 battery is a 6,000mAh unit and supports 33W fast-charging (charger in the box). The handset is IP53 certified for splash resistance. In terms of connectivity, the POCO X3 comes with an IR blaster, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, aptX HD, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The POCO X3 India variant does not come with NFC support.
