PUBG Mobile India launch has been expected for months now. The game was first teased back in November 2020 as an alternative to the original PUBG Mobile. Due to several delays, we still don’t have an official PUBG Mobile India launch date yet. However, we may see the game release in India soon now as a teaser video went live briefly on the PUBG Mobile India official YouTube channel. The video has been taken down now but some eager fans managed to see what the six-second video offered.

PUBG Mobile India launch date to be announced soon?
According to reports, the teaser video did not reveal the PUBG Mobile India launch date. Instead, it only mentioned that the game will be coming soon. This has been said several times before, but it now seems to be true. After all, it was reported in March that the game received the government’s nod to release in India. This means that we may see the developers announce the launch of PUBG Mobile India in the country soon enough.
PUBG Mobile India: what is it?
To recall, PUBG Mobile India was announced back in November 2020 as a replacement to PUBG Mobile, which has been banned in India. The India-specific version comes with some modifications such as reduced gore and violence, clothed characters, and more. The idea was to offer a healthier gameplay experience compared to the original PUBG Mobile game. There have been several reports of PUBG Mobile addiction in the country, with kids spending hours on the game and spending their parents’ money on microtransactions.
To reduce the violent nature of PUBG Mobile, the developers announced a toned-down game called PUBG Mobile India. However, we are yet to see what this new game looks like as there has not been any gameplay reveal as yet.
