Qualcomm has scheduled its annual Snapdragon event between December 1st and 2nd. The chipset maker typically unveils its flagship Snapdragon 8xx-series processor at the conference and we can expect the same this year as well. The San-Diego based company is expected to introduce the Snapdragon 875 SoC on December 1st, which will likely be the company's first chipset based on a 5nm architecture. Qualcomm has revealed the event date on Weibo, following which Xiaomi's China president has said, "looking forward," which probably suggests the company will announce its first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 875 SoC.
