Realme 12 5G is launching in India on March 6th at 12 noon alongside Realme 12+ 5G. So, while we shared a post yesterday on the Plus model covering its officially confirmed details, here, let’s look at everything revealed about the regular Realme 12 model. The phone’s design, camera features and even pre-booking details are out on a page on the company’s website. Here, take a look:
Realme 12 5G pre-booking and sale details
- You can pre-book the Realme 12 5G and Realme 12+ 5G till March 5th at 11:59 PM from Realme.com, Flipkart, and mainline stores.
- Those who pre-book the Realme 12 5G, get up to Rs 1,000 off (plus a Rs 1,000 additional discount with the 8+128GB model) when they finally buy the device. They also get 1 year of free screen-damage protection worth more than Rs 1,000.
- On Flipkart, you can also get pre-booking benefits like 1-year complete mobile protection.
- If you buy them from offline Realme stores, then you can grab complimentary realme accessories and a one-time screen replacement offer.

Realme 12 5G design
- On the event microsite, the first thing you would notice is the Realme 12 design.
- The phone has flat edges with a lustrous sheen. The volume rocker and the power button are on the right side.
- The SIM card tray is on the top. So, the left side is probably vacant.
- The back side has a big round camera bump. Inside the camera island, we see a 108MP AI camera written.
Realme 12 5G specifications (confirmed and expected)
- Realme 12 5G’s rear camera setup could be led by a 108MP Clear Portrait Master with “Cinematic Portrait Algorithm”, “NightEye Engine”, and “3x In-sensor Zoom”. The Camera FV-5 appearance suggests this sensor could feature f/1.8 aperture, 5.2mm focal length, and JPEG image output.
- The front camera could sport f/2.0 aperture and 2.6mm focal length support as per Camera FV-5 listing.
- From the TUV Rheinland listing, we learned the phone could pack a 5,000mAh cell (rated at 4,880mAh).
- The FCC listing revealed it could come with 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0.
