Realme 12x 5G is launching in India on April 2nd. The launch event is scheduled to take place at 12 noon. The smartphone has been teased as 'the entry-level 5G killer', hinting at its price to fall under Rs 20,000.

• Since the Realme 12x 5G has already launched, we know about the device's specifications and features. But the Indian variant will come with faster charging than the Chinese one.
• Here, the Realme 12x 5G will feature 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology as opposed to the 15W charging speed in the Chinese model. Realme also claims this phone is India's first 45W SUPERVOOC Charging 5G phone.
• Another India-only feature confirmed is the Dynamic Button that was introduced with the Realme 12. It's a shortcut button that lets you access certain features on the phone. Realme 12x 5G is also coming with 'Air Gestures' that we saw first with the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G.
• As for the rest of the specifications, it looks like it's going to remain the same. The teaser image also confirms the same design but in a new Blue colour. The Chinese variant comes in Blue Bird (green) and Black Jade colours.

Realme 12x 5G specifications

Realme 12x 5G has a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 625 nits peak brightness. Under the hood of the phone runs the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor paired with Mali G57 GPU. It comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage with expandable storage support via a microSD card.

The smartphone features a 50MP primary camera along with a secondary sensor, and an 8MP front camera for selfies. On the software front, it runs Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 out-of-the-box. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery, and it also comes with an IP54 rating for dust and spill resistance.
