Realme 8 Pro will bring notable camera improvements over its predecessor, thanks to a customised 108MP camera.
Realme is adopting Samsung's latest 108MP HM2 sensor with 9-in-1 pixel binning and 1/1.52" large sensor size that is claimed to improve the image quality in low light. The ISOCELL Plus technology is said to minimise optical loss and light reflection, delivering higher colour fidelity, and up to 15 percent enhancement in light sensitivity. The sensor comes with smart-ISO that enables take excellent images in more light. The sensor will deliver 3x zoom, brings a New Starry Mode with support for timelapse video, tilt-shift, and portrait mode with three new filters. The handset can record videos up to 4K@120 fps. Realme 8 Pro is claimed to click well-balanced images with vivid colours and sharp details in both bright and dark areas.
Realme 8 Pro's 2nd generation Starry Mode features a Starry time-lapse video algorithm that takes only 4 minutes to take 15 photos and combines it into one starry photo or a 30fps time-lapse video. It takes 480 seconds to shoot 30 photos and then to generate a 1-second time-lapse video.
Realme 8 series will come with a tilt-shift photography algorithm that will allow capturing of tilt-shift photos and 10x faster tilt-shift time-lapse videos. The company is also offering the ability to adjust the shape, angle, position, and size of the bokeh effect when using the tilt-shift mode. Realme 8 Pro is also the world's first smartphone that features tilt-shift time-lapse video.
The new portrait mode filters include neon, dynamic bokeh, and AI colour portrait. This is said to make the portrait image trendier for the younger audience.
Realme 8 series launch date hasn't been revealed but the company says it'll happen soon.
