"Realme Buds Air Neo could be the next-gen truly wireless earphones from the brand"
Realme Buds Air Neo has now been certified by IMDA. The next-gen truly wireless earphones have popped on the certification agency with the same model number RMA205 as the NCC listing from last month. The model number is being associated with the Realme Buds Air Neo, which was spotted earlier in a Realme UI software screenshot. It's unclear at the moment whether the unannounced Realme accessory is a successor to Realme Buds Air or just the rebranded version of the latter for a region or country?

The reports, meanwhile, suggest that the Buds Air Neo could rock the same design as the original truly wireless earphones from Realme. The pair is likely to flaunt Apple AirPods-like form factor with a long stem design. They will be accompanied by a charging case, which is said to feature a micro USB port instead of Type-C. The Realme Buds Air Neo will reportedly lack wireless charging feature, which means it could be a watered-down version of Buds Air. The latter was launched in India last year with a price tag of Rs 3,999.
Talking about the Realme Buds Air (Review) specifications, the pair ships with smart connectivity options powered by a new R1 chipset. The earphones are compatible with both Android and iOS devices with support for Google Assistant and Siri respectively for hands-free communication. Additionally, the Buds Air packs wear detection tech under the hood that pauses the music when they're removed and resumes when you put them back on ears.
Realme claims that the Realme Buds Air can last 21 hours, with the case holding the juice for the next 17 hours on a single charge. Lastly, the earphones are IPX2 water and dust resistant certified, comes with Bluetooth v 5.2 and Custom R1 chip, 12mm Mater Tuned drivers, and dual-mic noise cancellation to filter ambient noise during voice calls.
