Realme has announced its first after-sales service program for new and existing customers in India called the Realme Care+. The subscription-based value-added service will provide end-to-end customer support, the company has claimed. The new ‘care’ plan gives two-way protection to a user in the form of an extended warranty as well as damage protection. Realme Care+ will have access via multiple forms of communication including social media, email, voice, WhatsApp and webchat services.

Realme Care+ introduced in India for better after-sales support

Realme has introduced a premium after-sales ‘care’ plan for its existing as well as new customers in India and is called Realme Care+. The new subscription-based plan aims to provide a hassle-free support experience and avail new extended warranty and damage protection cover on Realme devices. The company also says that the premium service will enable access to the company’s service staff, hassle-free claim processes, and authorised service centres with genuine device parts. 

The service will also be made available via social media, email, voice, WhatsApp and webchat services from 9am to 9pm IST. Support will be extended in multiple nationally recognised languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, and Hindi. 

The subscription service has been made available for Rs 489 on Realme’s website as well as on other online channels and offline modes.

The Realme Care+ services will include an extended 1-year warranty, a year of screen protection, and a year of accidental and liquid damage protection. Realme says that the integrated digital customer service platform will support SMS notifications and live tracking of service requests, self-service, software upgrades, knowledge bank, pick-up service, TV on-door service, and warranty status checks. The technical support system will now also be backed by a supporting service centre to make maintenance tasks and repairs easier for customers availing this scheme.
