Realme is reportedly in the works to launch its Realme GT Neo5 series of smartphones. The Realme GT Neo5 series will have two variants, namely the GT Neo5 and GT Neo5T, and will reportedly launch sometime in Q1, 2023. Ahead of the launch, the fast charging capabilities of the Realme GT Neo5 have surfaced the internet. According to a new leak, the Realme GT Neo5 will launch in a whopping 240W fast charging variant. Realme GT Neo5 fast charging

According to noted tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Realme GT Neo5 will launch in two fast charging variants – one with 150W fast charging support and one with a whopping 240W fast charging support. The 150W fast charging variant will come with a dual-cell 5,000mAh battery (BLP985), while the 240W fast charging variant will feature a dual-cell 4,600mAh battery (BLP987). The latter is yet to receive the Indian BIS certification, so it’s too early to tell whether (or when) the Realme GT Neo5 240W will launch in India.

Realme GT Neo5 specifications (expected)

The Realme GT Neo5 is expected to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will likely come powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9-series processor. In terms of cameras, we can expect the Realme GT Neo5 to feature a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP/32MP selfie camera.

Coming to the battery of the device, the Realme GT Neo5 is tipped to sport a 5,000mAh battery for the 150W fast charging variant and a 4,600mAh battery for the 240W fast charging variant. Lastly, the device is said to boot Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 skin out of the box.
