Earlier this week, MySmartPrice spotted the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro on the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. Interestingly, the listing for the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro mentions two other TWS earphones – POCO Pop Buds and Redmi Buds 3 Pro. Both the unannounced TWS earphones have the same model number as Redmi AirDorts 3 Pro. It means that the POCO Pop Buds and Redmi Buds 3 Pro are rebranded variants of the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro. Xiaomi might have registered the same earphones under different names with an intention to launch them in markets outside China. However, there is no proof backing our speculation at the moment.

POCO had revealed in the past that the brand will launch a pair of TWS earphones in the near future, called the POCO Pop Buds. Earlier this year, the brand revealed that the POCO Pop Buds was still in the works. It seems the TWS earbuds will arrive in India as a rebranded version of the Redmi AirDots 3. Moreover, the brand’s director for India, Anuj Sharma, had said that the company had already tested two variants of the earbuds and that it is testing a third variant. He added that POCO will be customising the upcoming earbuds for the Indian market to fit “Indian ears” and suit the weather conditions in the country.
