Display

The Galaxy F22 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy M32 also has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. However, the display of the Galaxy M32 features a full-HD+ resolution, which offers much significantly better sharpness compared to that of the Galaxy F22. Plus, the screen of the Galaxy M32 has a higher brightness (800 nits) compared to that of the Galaxy F22 (600 nits). Thanks to the higher resolution and better brightness, the Galaxy M32 comes out on top in terms of display.

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy F22 has a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro unit, and a 2MP depth sensor. While the Galaxy M32 has the same 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors, its main camera is a 64MP unit. A sensor with a higher resolution doesn’t always produce better images than a sensor with a lower resolution. However, going by the performance of these 48MP and 64MP cameras in other smartphones, it is safe to say that the 64MP sensor offers a slightly better image quality.

The 48MP camera in the Galaxy F22 isn’t bad by any means. However, the Galaxy M32 should produce better images, especially in lowlight conditions. When it comes to selfies, the Galaxy M32 once again takes the lead with its 20MP sensor, which according to our previous reviews, performs slightly better than the 13MP sensor in the Galaxy F22. Although the Galaxy F22 is quite a capable device in terms of imaging, the Galaxy M32 is just a little bit better, taking the crown for this round as well.

Performance

The Galaxy F22 and the Galaxy M32 feature the same chipset, the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. Both devices are also available with the same configurations, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. However, if you are thinking that both smartphones will have the same performance, you’d be wrong.

Although the two phones have the same processors and RAM options, the Galaxy F22 has a display with a lower resolution. Due to this, the SoC doesn’t have to push as many pixels as it has to in the Galaxy M32. Since the SoC doesn’t have to handle as much load, the Galaxy F22 should provide you with a slightly faster performance compared to the Galaxy M32 in day-to-day tasks as well as gaming.

Battery

The Galaxy F22, as well as the Galaxy M32, have a 6,000mAh battery. As you might know, the processor and the display are the two components that eat up most of the battery life. Now, processors of the two smartphones should consume a similar amount of power since both of them feature the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. However, when it comes to the display, the Galaxy F22 should consume less power since its screen has HD+ resolution instead of the FHD+ resolution of the Galaxy M32. Given their massive battery size of 6,000mAh, both smartphones will deliver an excellent battery life. However, the Galaxy F22 should last longer on a single charge as its display consumes less power.
