Samsung Galaxy M01 has been in the development for a while and it should launch as an affordable, entry-level smartphone. The handset has already bagged the Wi-Fi alliance certification. Now, Samsung Galaxy M01 specifications and render have been spotted on the Google Play Console website. The listing reveals the phone’s screen resolution, RAM, chipset, and Android version. The design, as you would come to expect from Samsung, is pretty ordinary. The smartphone has a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera and thick bezels on all sides. The Galaxy M01 looks similar to the Galaxy A01 and there is a possibility it could be a rebrand of that model for specific markets.

According to the Google Play Console listing, the Samsung Galaxy M01 will come with a standard 720×1520 resolution. The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset paired with 3GB RAM. The handset will run on Android 10 with One UI 2.0 custom skin on top. Earlier reports suggested the Galaxy M01 is meant for markets like India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Russia. It is tipped to arrive with 32GB internal storage for the base model and will be available in Black, Blue and Red colours.

The Samsung Galaxy M01 with model number SM-M015G recently also appeared on Geekbench with a single-core score of 856 points and 3327 in multi-core tests, respectively. Unfortunately, not much else is known at the moment, but with the handset starting to bag all the required certifications, the launch could be right around the corner and we should have more information quite soon.
