Samsung Galaxy M55 and Galaxy M15 5G phones are set to launch in India next week. The phones debuted in global markets recently, so their specifications aren't a mystery. That said, we might see some minor changes to the hardware, especially the configurations that will be available in India. The Galaxy M55 and Galaxy M15 prices in India and availability details will be revealed next week during the launch event. Here's everything we know about the phone so far.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G will launch in India on April 8th at 12 PM IST. The phones will be on sale via Amazon India.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G's price in India is tipped to be Rs 26,999 for the 8GB/128GB configuration, Rs 29,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant and Rs 32,999 for the 12GB/256GB model. In Brazil, the phone costs BZR 2,699 (around Rs 45,000) for the single 8GB+256GB variant.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy M15 5G's price in India is tipped to be Rs 13,499 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model and Rs 14,999 for the 6GB/128GB model.

The phones should be on sale in India through Amazon and the Samsung official website. Customers can pre-book the Galaxy M15 5G on Amazon India by making a payment of Rs 999 (later complete the payment on April 8th between 12 PM and 11:59 PM). Customers pre-booking the phone get a Samsung 25W charger worth Rs 1,699 at just Rs 299. There is also a 3-month no-cost EMI on HDFC credit cards. The handset will be available in 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB models.

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 retain the same familiar design. The former houses a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, flat edges and sizeable bezels. The Galaxy M15 5G has a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter.

The volume rocker and power buttons are on the right edge. The Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G have the SIM tray section on the left spine. Moving to the back, you see triple cutouts to house three cameras and an LED flash. The USB Type-C port, speaker vents and a primary microphone are at the bottom. We see a secondary microphone at the top.

• Display: Samsung Galaxy M55 5G sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a punch-hole cutout and 1,000 nits peak brightness.
• Processor: The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset coupled with Adreno GPU for graphics.
• RAM/Storage: 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, which should be further expandable via a microSD card.
• Cameras: There is a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There could be a 50MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
• Battery: The Galaxy M55 5G will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. The Indian variant could get 45W fast charging.
• OS: The handset is likely to boot Android 14 with One UI 6.1 layered on top.

• Processor: The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with Mali-G57 MC2 for graphics.
• RAM/Storage: 4GB RAM and 128GB native storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card.
• Cameras: The Samsung Galaxy M15 5G will have a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. There is a 13MP unit on the front for selfies and video chats.
• OS: Android 14-based One UI custom skin out of the box is expected.
• Battery: The handset packs a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
• Colours: Celestine Blue, Stone Grey, and Blue Topaz.
