Samsung Galaxy Note 20 may have the same design and hardware as Galaxy S20

“The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is could look very similar to the Galaxy S20, but will come with an S Pen”

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is expected to launch later this year, unless the coronavirus pandemic severely hampers the company’s launch timeline. Typically, Samsung’s Note-series is highly inspired by the preceding Galaxy S phone. And if the past is anything to go by, then the upcoming Galaxy Note 20, as it is believed to be called, will look similar to the Galaxy S20. This is reiterated by noted Samsung tipster Ice Universe, who claims the Galaxy Note20’s hardware specifications won’t be all that different to the Galaxy S20-series, including cameras. In addition to this, Max Weinbach of XDA-Developers added that the Galaxy Note 20 will essentially be the same as the Galaxy S20, but with an S Pen and squared corners.

Earlier reports have suggested that there will be three Note-series flagships this year- the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20+ and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, similar to the S20 lineup. These will come with the Snapdragon 865/Exynos 990 SoC, 5G connectivity and a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout to accommodate the selfie camera. However, the Indian variants may be limited to 4G LTE only in order to keep the prices in check. Samsung could add 120Hz refresh rate even at Quad HD+ resolution.

The high-end model is likely to ship with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB internal storage and a 5,000mAh battery capacity. The Galaxy Note flagship usually launches around August timeline, but this year there could be disruption to Samsung’s plans, owing to the coronavirus outbreak across the world. With the launch still months away, things might change at any turn in the future.
