The new price is effective starting today and is applicable across both offline and online channels. That means you can head to Samsung.com, Amazon.in, or the retailer near you to get the S Pen-toting Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphone. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 was launched in August last year; there will be no new Note smartphone launching this year due to the global semiconductor shortage.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 price in India

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 price in India after the new price cut stands at Rs 54,999 in online stores and Rs 59,999 in offline channels. This represents a massive Rs 22,000 drop from the usual Rs 76,999 price tag of the phone. With this price cut, the smartphone has more than sufficiently undercut the iPhone 12, whose price went down about Rs 6,000 to Rs 67,990 in the ongoing Amazon Prime Day sale.

Interestingly, while buyers can purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 at Rs 54,999 in Bronze and Green colours (but not in Blue) on the company’s official e-store, Amazon is only selling the Green hue at the new price. They will have to pay the full Rs 76,999 for the Bronze option. On the Flipkart, the story is very different — the Bronze and Green variants are both out of stock and you can get the smartphone in Blue colour at Rs 66,000.

The smartphone comes in only 8GB + 256GB configuration in India. However, despite the premium price, it does not support 5G. If you are looking for a 5G-capable smartphone, you need to check out the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G, which has not received a price cut in the country.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 specifications

A premium smartphone through and through, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 offers a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with punch-hole design and S Pen support. The smartphone in India is powered by the Exynos 990 chipset, though the global variant packs the Snapdragon 865 SoC. As we mentioned above, the smartphone comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage. On the back of the device is the 12MP f/1.8 primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 120-degree field of view, and a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x hybrid zoom. In the front is the 10MP f/2.2 Dual Pixel PDAF camera for selfies and video calls. On the battery front, you get a 4,300mAh cell and support for 45W wired fast-charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
