Samsung Galaxy S24+ display upgrade
- Samsung Galaxy S24+ gets a QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO panel like the Galaxy S24 Ultra. However, its panel size is 6.7 inches while the Galaxy S24 Ultra screen dimensions are 6.8-inches. So, the S24 Plus’s smaller screen has more pixels to work with. It has a pixel density of 509 PPI whilst the S24 Ultra screen’s pixel density is 501 PPI only. The result is a sharper display.
- Apart from this, the Galaxy S24+ and the vanilla S24 screens support a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate whereas their precursors supported only a 48-120Hz variable refresh rate. This is another display improvement.
- Another spec bump is the 2,600 nits of brightness on all three models.
- Rest, three of them support HDR10+ content and Always-On Display.
- The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ have Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection while the Ultra gets Gorilla Glass Armor support.
