The display is surrounded by a symmetric bezel on all sides, and the tablet will be offered in three color options. The tablet is slim at just 6.9mm and features a quad-speaker system that’s powered by Dolby Atmos.
Internally, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 features an octa-core UniSoc T618 processor, which is paired with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It houses a 7,040mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. You also get an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera along with a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The tablet runs Android 11 OS with OneUI 3.1 on top. It’ll get features such as multi-window support, Samsung Kids, a built-in screen recorder, Samsung TV Plus, and more.
