  • Samsung will bring three variants of the Galaxy Watch 7, one of which will be a higher-tier option, according to a report by SamMobile. However, the specific names for each variant have not been disclosed yet.
  • Samsung is likely revamping its model number system for the Galaxy Watch 7 lineup. The first variant will be identified by two model numbers – SM-L300 and SM-L305.
  • The subsequent variant will have model numbers SM-L310 and SM-L315, while the top-tier variant will be denoted by model numbers SM-L700 and SM-L705. 
  • It is speculated that model numbers ending with the digit 5 might indicate versions with cellular connectivity and eSIM capabilities.
  • Furthermore, Samsung might increase the upcoming smartwatch’s storage capacity to 32GB instead of 16GB, as we saw on the Galaxy Watch 6.

As per recent reports, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is anticipated to debut as the company’s first device featuring a 3nm chip. The new chip is expected to offer a 50 percent increase in power efficiency compared to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 launch timeline

While not officially confirmed, there’s anticipation that the Galaxy Watch 7 will be unveiled, possibly around mid-July. Recent reports suggest that Samsung will hold a Galaxy Unpacked event during this period, where it’s speculated to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 alongside the Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Watch 7 series, and a new Samsung Service.
