Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 AnTuTu scores
- As predicted before, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset did manage to cross the 2 million mark on the benchmarking platform, AnTuTu. It scored a total of 2,139,281 points, making it the first official record. The device used hasn’t been revealed though.
- MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9300 SoC also crossed the 2 million mark on AnTuTu but it hasn’t officially launched yet. It’s scheduled to debut on November 6th.
- In comparison to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that released last year, the 8 Gen 3 shows an improvement of 233 percent. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 scored 1,478,024 points on AnTuTu with the Samsung Galaxy S23. This was an increase of 161 percent compared to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 that scored 1,311,539 points on AnTuTu. Going by these scores, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 shows the highest improvement so far.
- Other benchmark scores are also out including Geekbench 6, where the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scored 7,501 points in the multi-core test, and 2,329 in the single-core test. In comparison, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 had a single-core score of 1,993 and a multi-core score of 5,328.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is slated to power several flagships with the first one launching today. The Xiaomi 14 series is scheduled to be announced today, and it is confirmed to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This would make it the first smartphone series to feature the newly launched chipset.
