Vivo V7+ ‘Infinite Red’ limited edition launched in India ahead of Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is one of the biggest commercial celebrations during the calendar year, and tech companies don’t miss out on the opportunity to make the most out of it. This year is no different as Vivo has announced the launch of its V7+ ‘Infinite Red’ limited edition smartphone in India. The company has collaborated with well-known designer Manish Malhotra to mark the occasion.

Commenting on the launch, Kenny Zeng, CMO at Vivo India, said, “With the launch of V7+ Manish Malhotra Limited edition, we are providing an opportunity for consumers to express their love in a more elegant and captivating manner.” Notably, the Infinite Red limited edition variant comes with the same specifications as the regular model.

To recap, the Vivo V7+ (review) sports a 5.99-inch FullView display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor mated to 4GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 64GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

In terms of optics, the Vivo V7+ sports a 16MP primary shooter with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) coupled with an LED flash. At the front, the smartphone packs a  24-megapixel sensor with Moonlight selfie flash. The device comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and runs Android Nougat-based FunTouch OS 3.0. To keep things running, the handset houses a 3,225mAh battery.

The V7+ was released in India last year in September. Interestingly, the company also introduced an ‘Energetic Blue’ variant of the smartphone in November 2017. The Vivo V7+ Infinite Red has been priced the same as the other variants – Rs 22,990 in India. The device will be available to buy across offline stores in the country as well on Amazon.
