“The Vivo Z1 Pro could be a variant of the Z5x for the Indian market”
Vivo has been posting several teasers for a new Z series smartphone in India for a while. The company’s teasers suggest that the handset will be aimed towards GenZ buyers in the country. The brand has been highlighting that the upcoming phone will be a performance-focussed smartphone. Recently, the phone maker confirmed that the handset will arrive in the market as the Vivo Z1 Pro. Now, ahead of the launch, 91mobiles has learned that the phone will be available exclusively on Flipkart.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any other information about the Vivo Z1 Pro at the moment. However, if the reports are to be believed, the phone could be a variant of the Vivo Z5x, which was launched in China last month as the brand’s first handset with a punch-hole display. Pricing and availability details of the Vivo Z1 Pro are not available at the moment. However, we can expect it to be priced similar to the Vivo Z5x, which is retailing in China at the starting price of around Rs 14,000.
Talking about its specifications, the Vivo Z5x boots Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS out of the box. It sports a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.77 percent. At the core of Vivo Z5x lies Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with up to 8GB and 128GB onboard storage.
For photography, the handset rocks a combination of 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter + 2-megapixel depth cameras on the back, aided by an LED flash. There is a 16-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies and video calling. The fingerprint sensor is at the back of the phone and this entire setup is run by a whopping 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
