Meta-owned WhatsApp is trying hard to get new users on its WhatsApp Payments UPI platform. WhatsApp Payments is offering attractive cashback on a minimum payment of Re 1 on its platform. WhatsApp is working to raise the Rs 294.98 crores in 3.48 million transactions in the month of May 2022 by offering lucrative offers. In the recent past, WhatsApp Payments has launched a cashback drive where users could get up to Rs 33 as cashback on transactions.
WhatsApp’s new cashback drive on their Payments section allows users to benefit from a cashback worth Rs 105 upon a minimum transaction of Re 1 with 3 other WhatsApp Payments users. Here’s how you can avail the cashback:
How to avail WhatsApp Payments UPI cashback offer?
Once a user is eligible for the offer, a gift icon will pop up when on the send money screen. To be able to see this, a user must have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on a supported device and have used the application for 30 days. The user must also have the Payments section set up and ready to use after linking the Payments UPI platform with a suitable bank account.
Once the basics are sorted, an eligible user can send any amount of money (Re 1) to another WhatsApp Payments UPI platform user. To be able to get the full amount of the cashback, a user must send money to three users on WhatsApp Payments app. For each transaction, one can receive Rs 35 in cashback which will add up to Rs 105 for three such transactions.
This is however not available for users who are on Business Accounts.
