Xiaomi was speculated to launch two major smartphones – Redmi S2 and Mi 7, this month. The brand has already gone ahead and launched the Redmi S2 recently in China, while the Mi 7 is scheduled for an announcement later this month. However, a new listing has been spotted on the Internet and suggests that apart from Xiaomi Mi 7, the company has a bevy of smartphones in the pipeline, including Xiaomi Mi 7 Lite.
KillerFeatures has spotted a listing on the on the Eurasian Economic Commission website that allegedly reveals the complete line-up of upcoming Redmi and Mi series smartphones. The certification listing reveals the names of smartphones that are slated for a launch later this year. However, the validity date shown on the certification is December 31st, 2023. Therefore we can expect most of these smartphones to be launched over the next couple of years and not necessarily this year itself. There are some known names in the list, including the Redmi S2 and Mi Mix 2S.
Other smartphones on the list are Mi 7 lite, Mi S1, Mi S2, Mi S3, Redmi S1, Redmi S3, Mi Mix 2s, Mi Mix 3s, Redmi Note 6, Redmi Note 6A, Redmi Note 6A Prime, Redmi Note 6 Prime, Redmi 6 Plus, Redmi 6A plus, Redmi A1, and Redmi A2.
