Jio and Vi (Vodafone Idea) have both launched new prepaid plans for their customers this week. Jio has introduced four new recharge plans with 90 days of Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription worth Rs 149. The new Jio plans are Rs 333, Rs 583, Rs 783, and a Rs 151 data add-on ‘Cricket Plan’ that gives 8GB of additional mobile data on top of the existing active plan. This is the first time the telco is introducing a Disney+ Hotstar subscription with all-in-one and data add-on plans. Previously, the benefit was only limited to select yearly plans. Meanwhile, Vi introduced three new plans this week, namely Rs 98, Rs 195, and Rs 319 with up to 31-day validity. Let’s take look at the new Jio and Vi prepaid plans launched this week.

4 Jio recharge plans launched this week
Jio Rs 333 recharge plan
The Rs 333 comes with 28 days of validity with a total of 42GB of mobile data, capped at 1.5GB per day. Post data allowance the internet speed will reduce to 64Kbps. You get unlimited voice calls on any network in the country and a total of 100 SMSes per day. Jio is giving a 90-day Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription with this plan worth Rs 149 at no extra cost. Along with this, you also get complimentary access to a wide range of Jio apps including JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud.
Jio Rs 583 recharge plan
The Rs 583 plan will get you 1.5GB of data per day with 56 days of plan validity. After the allowed daily data limit, the internet speed reduces to 64Kbps. In total, you get 84GB of internet data. You also get unlimited voice calls to any operator in the country along with 100 SMS per day. As with the previous plan, you are getting 90 days of Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription worth Rs 149. Jio is bundling access to JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud.
Jio Rs 783 recharge plan
The Rs 783 recharge plan has a validity of 84 days with a total of 126GB of internet data. It is worth noting that the daily data access is capped at 2GB per day. After the data daily data allowance, Jio will cap the data speed to 64Kbps. You also get Rs 149 worth 90 days of Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription. Additionally, get complimentary access to Jio apps like JioTV, JioCinema, JioSecurity, and JioCloud.
Jio Rs 151 recharge plan
The last plan that Jio introduced this week is Rs 151 ‘Cricket Plan’. The Rs 151 recharge plan acts the same as the existing Jio 4G data voucher plans. You get 8GB of additional data with existing active plan validity. Just like the previous plans, this recharge plan also gets you access to 90 days of Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription. It is worth noting that unlike the above plans on this list, you won’t get access to Jio apps like JioTV, Jio Cinema, Jio Security, or Jio cloud. You also won’t get any calling or SMS benefits.

These are the new plans that Vi launched this week.
Vi Rs 98 recharge plan
The first plan that Vi introduces this week is Rs 98 recharge plan, which has a 15 days validity. This plan will get you unlimited calls to any network and a total of 200MB of internet data. It is worth noting that the plan doesn’t offer any outgoing call or SMS benefits. And after the data allowance, Vi will charge mobile internet at 50 paise per Megabyte of data consumed.
Vi Rs 195 recharge plan
The Rs 195 recharge from Vi has 31 days of validity with a total of 2GB of data. You also get a total of 300 SMSes with this plan. It offers unlimited outgoing calls to all networks. Post data allowance, you’ll have to pay 50 paise per Megabyte of data consumed. And Post SMS quota, the telco will charge Rs 1 per outgoing local SMS and Rs 1.5 per outgoing SMS. Additionally, Vi is also giving access to Vi is also offering access to Vi Movies & TV Classic app, which gives unlimited access to entertainment content like movies, originals, live TV, news, and more.
Vi Rs 319 recharge plan
The last and most expensive recharge Vi introduced this week is Rs 319 plan. It has 31 days of validity. This plan is a bit different from the above plans. Apart from including benefits like unlimited calls and 2GB of data per day along with 100 SMSes per day allowance. It features the ‘Binge All Night’ benefit, which lets you surf access the internet from 12AM midnight to 6AM without any data deductions from the allowed data quota. This means you won’t be charged for any amount of internet surfing at night (within the said time limits).
Additionally, this plan also comes with a ‘Weekend data rollover’ feature that lets you carry over your unused internet data from Monday to Friday into Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, Vi is also allowing you to backup 2GB of your important data per month at no extra cost with the ‘Data delights’ benefit.
Similar to the Rs 195 plans, this plan also gives you access to the Vi Movies & TV Classic app, which lets you stream all sorts of entertainment content. After the Outgoing SMS quota ends, Vi will charge the outgoing SMSes at the rate of Rs 1 for local SMSes and Rs 1.5 for STD SMSes.
