Xiaomi‘s Redmi Note 5 Pro (review) smartphone is now available in India in a new red colour variant. The new model is available in both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants of the handset, which are priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. The red colour is being offered exclusively on the company’s e-store at the moment. Notably, the red version of the Redmi Note 5 Pro was already available for sale in China for a while, where the phone is called the Redmi Note 5.
For the uninitiated, the Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched in India earlier this year. It currently sells in the country in Black, Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold colour variants. The handset’s specifications include a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 ticking at its core, up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage space. For photography, it features a dual 12MP + 5MP camera setup, while on the front, there’s a 20MP shooter.
