Acer has launched a whole host of new laptops, including new additions to its Predator and Swift lineups. As you may already know, the Predator is Acer’s high-performance gaming lineup that is designed for hardcore gamers, while the Swift series is its premium thin-and-light lineup that is designed for those looking sleek, stylish and powerful machines that don’t compromise on portability.

Acer Predator series
Acer Predator Triton 17 X
The Acer Predator Triton X is the most powerful laptop from the company to date. This has been made possible by combining the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 series. The laptop is available with up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. It also offers up to 64GB DDR5 5600Hz RAM and 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD.
In terms of the display, users will get a large 17-inch screen that will be available in two configurations. This includes a WQXGA mini LED (AmLED) display with a refresh rate of 250Hz and a peak brightness of over 1000 nits.
To keep things cool, the laptops include state-of-the-art thermal cooling solutions such as the Vortex Flow technology that features a triple-fan system, which includes two custom-engineers 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans. Other features include per-key RGB, a fingerprint reader, and a glass touchpad. It also offers DTS:X Ultra surround sound six-speaker system. connectivity -wise, users get Intel Killer E3100G+ Ethernet and Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1690i. There is also a Thunderbolt 4 port for super-fast wired connectivity speeds.
Acer Predator Helios Neo 16
The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 aims to offer gamers a high-performance laptop at a much more affordable price tag. The laptop packs 13th Gen Intel Core HX processors with up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. Gamers can also get up to 32GB RAM and 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The series also offers multiple panel options including a WQXGA IPS display and a WUXGA display. Both offer 165Hz refresh rates along with Nvidia Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC.
Acer Predator Triton 14
The Predator Triton 14 is designed as a portable gaming laptops. It offers up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H processor with either Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 or RTX 4050 GPUs. The compact 14-inch screen is available with up to a WQXGA Mini LED display with a 350Hz refresh rate.
Acer Predator Helios 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition
Acer also launched a new version of the Predator Helios 3D 15 gaming laptop. This time, the laptop packs a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 GPU. It also comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM.
Of course, the highlight of this laptop is the display. The laptops combine SpatialLabs’ eye-tracking software solution, stereoscopic 3D display and real-time scene rendering technology to allow for 3D visuals without the need for glasses. Games can enjoy over 70 different titles optimised for 3D play.
Acer Swift series
Acer Swift X 16
The Acer Swift X 16 is an extremely portable laptop that weighs 1.9kg and is 17.9mm thick. Acer also notes that the laptop also offers a much larger touchpad that offers a 33 percent more scrolling space as compared to its predecessor.
The laptop comes with a 16-inch 3.2K OLED panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 120Hz. This display covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut for greater colour accuracy. VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe certifications.
For performance, the laptop is available with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 7940H processor with built-in Radeon 780M graphics. However, users can also choose to get an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 dedicated GPU for more graphically intensive tasks. In terms of memory, the laptop is available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and up to 2TB PCIe NVMe SDD.
