Respawn has started regional beta tests for Apex Legends Mobile earlier this year in India and the Philippines. The game is designed for touchscreens with intuitive controls and gameplay optimizations. Initially, the beta tests are available to a limited number of players in India and the Philippines. However, the beta tests will expand to more regions and players in the future.
The Apex Legends Mobile beta tests are available to select Android users only. It's unlikely that more players will be added to the beta test before any official announcements from Respawn. You can pre-register for Apex Legends Mobile beta on Google Play Store when more slots for beta tests are available.
The spec requirements for Android and iOS aren't officially announced yet; however, IGN India reports that Android phones with Snapdragon 625 SoC or above that run Android 6.0 or higher, and iPhones with A11 Bionic or above will be able to play Apex Legends Mobile.
Respawn hasn't announced the launch date of Apex Legends Mobile yet. Gemwire has previously reported that the game could soft-launch later this year and the full launch may happen in 2022.
