ASUS 8z (ASUS Zenfone 8 globally) has finally launched in India after a pretty long delay. The handset made its debut back in May 2021 and it comes as a successor to the ASUS 7 series. The flagship highlights a compact design that features a punch-hole camera, dual rear cameras, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. ASUS 8z price in India, sale date

ASUS 8z price in India is Rs 42,999 for the variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone will be available via Flipkart online and comes in Black and Silver colour options. The ASUS 8z will go on sale starting March 7th.

ASUS 8z sports a 5.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with HDR10, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1100nits brightness, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, 3.5mm audio jack, Dirac HD Sound, and Hi-Res Audio. A 4000mAh battery with 30W fast charging and quick charge 4 support fuels the phone.

Unfortunately, the phone runs on a dated Android 11 OS with ZenUI 8 custom skin on top. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage that is further expandable via a microSD card. It comes with a dual Cirrus Logic CS35L45 amplifier, triple microphones with OZO Audio Zoom & ASUS Noise Reduction Technology, and FM Radio.
