ASUS ROG Phone 5s and ASUS ROG Phone 5s Pro phones have been launched in India months after debuting in Taiwan. The flagships come as the latest gaming offerings and bring sizeable upgrades over the vanilla ROG Phone 5 series. The ROG Phone 5s Pro ships with a ROG Vision Color PMOLED display on the back that can surface animations for incoming calls, battery charging, and more. While the regular ASUS ROG Phone 5s has an RGB logo on the back panel. The phones feature an upgraded GameCool 5 cooling system that has an optimal thermal structure featuring a centred CPU with the battery split into two parts, each located on either side of the CPU. The ASUS ROG Phone 5s price in India is Rs 49,999 for the 8GB/128GB and Rs 57,999 for the 12GB/256GB version. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Phone 5s Pro costs Rs 79,999 for the 18GB/512GB model.

The ASUS ROG Phone 5s comes in Storm White and Phantom Black colours, while the ROG Phone 5s Pro comes only in Phantom Black colour. The phones will be available from Flipkart starting from February 18th at 12 PM IST.

The ASUS ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro have the same 6.78-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection, 20:4:9 aspect ratio, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 144Hz refresh rate, 24ms ultra-low-latency, 111 percent DCI-P3, sRGB:150.89 percent, 1ms response time, and brightness of 800nits, and HDR10+. Connectivity features include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC.

The phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset with Adreno 660 graphics. They pack up to 18GB RAM LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. They are equipped with AirTrigger buttons on the sides, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, GameCool 5 system for heat dissipation, and an aerodynamic fan that can reduce CPU temperature by 10-degrees.

On the camera front, the ASUS ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro are equipped with a 64MP Sony IMX 686 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro sensor. There is a 24MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. They have a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support and 10W reverse charging. They pack DisplayPort 1.4, ESS Sabre ES9280AC Pro with HyperStream II QUAD DAC  architecture, dual front-firing stereo speakers, Dirac HD Sound, and Quad microphones with OZO Noise Reduction Technology. The phones boot Android 11 with ROG UI custom skin.

The ROG 5s comes with a ROG (RGB light) logo while the ROG 5s Pro ships with ROG Vision Color PMOLED display that can display animations for incoming calls, battery charging, etc. The Pro model will come with the AeroActive Cooler 5 that straps on a cooling fan to the phone and two additional buttons.
