Asus is gearing up to launch its next-gen gaming phone, the Asus ROG Phone 6. The company has confirmed that Asus ROG Phone 6 will equip a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with Qualcomm Adreno GPU. Asus will host an online event on July 5th, where it will announce its ROG Phone 6. However, the invite doesn’t reveal any further specifications or features of the upcoming Asus flagship phone.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 may or may not be the first phone to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset under the hood, but it’ll be the first gaming smartphone to feature the latest Qualcomm flagship SoC. Not much is known about the Asus ROG Phone 6, but we expect it to come with a better cooling system, a faster charging option, and an improved camera setup. Previously, we came across a leak that revealed the design of Asus ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro via 2D renders. Asus launched its ROG Phone 3 and the ROG Phone 5 in India on the same day as the global launch, so we expect the Asus ROG Phone 6 to follow the same. As we get closer to the handset’s launch, we expect to learn more about its specifications, features, price, and launch date.
