Recently, boAt has launched several new products, including the boAt Immortal Katana Blade TWS, boAt Airdopes Flex 454 ANC earbuds, and much more. As far as smartwatches are concerned, the consumer technology brand has unveiled boAt Lunar Comet, boAt Wave Astra, Primia Celestial, and Wave Convex, among several others.
The company has also recently launched boAt Smart Ring, which is priced at Rs 8,999. It is designed for single-hand usage, offering intuitive controls through swipes and touches. Its music controls allow users to manage playback, including pausing, resuming, and changing tracks with a touch. Additionally, the device enables remote control of a connected phone’s camera shutter for capturing photos, making it convenient for group shots.
Beyond its interactive features, the smart ring serves as a health companion, tracking metrics such as heart rate, SpO2, sleep, body temperature, steps, calories, and various sports modes.
In emergency situations, the device can trigger SOS calls, potentially proving to be a life-saving feature and its 5ATM water resistance allows usage up to a depth of 50 meters. The device boasts a claimed battery life of 7 days and supports “smart” charging through a proprietary charger.
